Having grown up in the South of France, his knowledge of sailboats is combined with his extensive world-wide network within the industry itself. This ensures that he has both the connections and the background to deliver whatever his guests desire and is well able to create bespoke itineraries that meet your individual needs. As a leader, he is mature, calm, positive, inspires loyalty, and brings a strong can-do attitude to the team. Being part of the construction of the yacht, he has been working on every facet of bringing the yacht’s program to reality, from overseeing the construction in Finland, to being in charge of all the technical side of things and the logistics. Although he started in hotel and restaurants, he branched out to cruise ships and was exposed to dishes and ideas from around the world. He incorporates these ideas into his menus, aiming for a fusion between showcasing the very best of local ingredients yethis ability to balance them with intercontinental tastes. He is an ambitious chef and has a passion for lifelong learning and developing his talent. Over his time on board, he has developed and enhanced his skills on deck, always smiling and helping out in any areas required. As an integral part of the Fancy team, Erwan aims to delight the guests with his creativity and flair, always available and very aware of the individual needs.   Édouard has been working on yachts since 2009, when he was a skipper on the private charter catamaran LIBERTY and Swan 82 KALLIMA. Since then he has worked in a variety of positions including deckhand, first mate and skipper on many different yachts. His experiences include sailing as a crew member during the « Voiles de Saint-Tropez » races on S/y OISEAU DE FEU in 2011, and being the skipper onboard S/Y KANDOR on her transatlantic crossing from the Bahamas to the Balearics.

  As First Mate Edouard has the expertise required to stand in for Captain in his absence, acting as second in command. He assists the Captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guest’s activities. He has extensive knowledge of sailing yachts maintenance and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery.
