Crew

  • Crew Profile : Captain KEVIN BENDALL

I have been a professional in the yachting industry for 21 years, having covered over two hundred thousand nautical miles. I was born into water sports and sailing thanks to my father and grandfather who both owned sail and motor boats. I have raced sailboats from dinghies to keelboats in both regatta and distance competitions. My outgoing personality and positive approach makes for the success I’ve enjoyed thus far. I love meeting new people and sharing good times. I have worked in both charter and private, having sailed across the Med, Caribbean, American East and West Coasts, Costa Rica, Panama, British Coastal waters as well as Trans -Atlantics. I have extensive experience on both sail (..racing and cruising..) and power (..long range and performance..)

    Chief Stewardess JULIA CHAN

Julia was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, also known as ‘The City of Sails’, Julia has always loved being out in the water. She was surrounded by beaches while growing up, and spent time on her friends boats. She began her career in the yachting industry in 2020, and was previously a Flight Attendant, where she had the opportunity to travel all over the world. She loves meeting new people from all different cultural backgrounds. She enjoys painting and photography, as well as being in the water and of course travelling.

    Chief Mate AREN JENSEN

Born and raised in New York, USA, Aren spent his summers on the water, where he found his love for the ocean and all the activities it offers. After being introduced to the maritime industry, while studying abroad in Brazil, Aren stepped into a dockhand position in 2019. A year later, he moved to Florida, where he found his first position on a yacht as a deckhand. Since then, he has traveled Brazil, the US east coast, from the Dry Tortugas to as far north as Maine and the Bahamas, totaling 10,000+ nm. Aren currently holds his Yachtmaster Offshore ticket and is working towards his Officer Of the Watch (OOW), most recently completing his ECDIS certification. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, running, swimming, diving, and traveling.

    Engineer CHRIS BASSON

Coming from a professional golfer background, Christian enjoys sports in all forms and follows the professional golf scene religiously. He fell in love with the ocean while growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, this is where he found his passion for surfing. In 2019 he played as a professional golfer and later that year started his gym equipment business, ZeGym. He likes to spend his free time playing golf, running and surfing. Christian has traveled throughout Southern Africa, Europe and has been lucky enough to surf in Indonesia.
